Team GB call up for Mark Ramsay

Congratulations to Mark Ramsay of Falleninch Farm Stirling who has made it through to the next stage in the selection of British Beefeaters Team GB




British Beefeaters Team GB will compete in the World Butchers Challenge during IFEX at Titanic Belfast in March 2018.




After a grueling heat down at MeatUp in Milton Keynes last week Mark was one of the top six butchers to progress forward to the next stage.

The six still in contention are:-
Simon Taylor - Surrey Hills Butchers
Mick Foley - Mainstream Foods
Mark Ramsay - Falleninch Farm, Stirling
Jess Leliuga - Ye Olde Sausage Shop
Peter Harrison - Dalziel Ltd
Bryce Lawson - McMurchie Meats, Hetton-Le-Hole




Over the next two training sessions these top butchers will be working close with British Beefeaters Team GB captain Tom Wood hoping to join fellow team members, Maurice Stephenson - Nigel Fredericks and Michael Dufton - Knitsley Farm Shop to compete in the biggest meat competition ever in the meat industry.
