MEAT SKILLS FINALISTS 2004

The overall talent found in this year's competition was of an extremely high standard and continually improving year on year. This is proving to be the arena for those forward thinking butchers who want to display their knife skills and innovation by presenting an array of visually appealing products to their customers.

Regional Heats 2004. Over 25's & Under 22's Results

Those entrants who just missed qualifying for this years final should be encouraged to know that the points awarded by the judges indicated that all entrants were close to reaching the finals

The winners and qualifiers are as follows:-

Northern Area.

Over 25�s Winner: Richard Megahy, Simon Howie, Perth
Over 25�s Qualifier: Adam Lorimer, Simon Howie, Dunning
Under 22�s Winner: Michael Traynor, Simon Howie, Dunning
Under 22�s Qualifier: Sam Stewart, Simon Howie, Perth

Southern Area.

Over 25�s Winner: Alan McCormack, J Saunderson, Edinburgh
Over 25�s Qualifier: Andrew Pannayides, Mearns T McCaskie, Wemyss Bay
Under 22�s Winner: Gordon McGlasson, J A. Waters, Selkirk
Under 22�s Qualifier: Paul Meins, George Lees, Yetham.

The Meat Skills Scotland Final will be held on Wednesday 22nd September, the venue is still to be finalised. Both category finals will be held from 10.00am to 12.30pm that day with the entrants and their employers being invited to a special presentation lunch while the judging is concluded and the results will be announced at the lunch.
