Congratulations to Simon Howie, Auchterarder who were named Scottish Butchers Shop of the Year at the Meat Trades Journal's final at the Sheraton Park Lane on Tuesday 17th November 2009




Gary Conacher and Simon Howie were presented with the award for Best Scottish Butchers Shop of the Year 2009

Simon Howie beat off tough competition in the final from the other two finalists:-
2008 winner Davidson Specialist Butchers, Inverurie
Stewart Collins & Son, Muirhead




UK Young Butcher of the Year was Stewart McClymont from Bennetts in Dunblane




Finalist UK Young Butcher of the Year 2009 - Gary Raeburn from Forbes Raeburn & Sons, Huntly
