Our farm shop and Smokehouse is located on a 280 acre farm of lush green pasture on the west coast of Scotland, set amongst the rolling hills of Ayrshire.
Most of our animals are born on the farm or brought in to be fed and reared by the Webb family who have 4 generations of farming experience.
The farm butchery was established by Michael Bramhall & Brian Smith 12 years ago, both being 3rd generation butchers with 80 years of experience between them.
Our aim is to produce top quality products in the old fashioned way using traditional methods as opposed to those employed by the supermarkets which are becoming increasingly unpopular with discerning shoppers.
All our beef is hung for 21 days to produce maximum tenderness and flavour before being cut and packed by our hand picked team of skilled butchers.
All our sausage, from the traditional lorne and steak slice to the British bangers, black pudding, haggis and steak pies are produced from top quality local ingredients in our purpose built premises.
A more recent addition to our farm shop is our own smokehouse. We only use prime Scottish salmon reared in the remote Scottish lochs of Western Scotland. Noted for their rugged beauty, these deep, pure waters provide the perfect conditions for growing these magnificent fish. Our master smoker will then prepare the fish in the traditional way then they are slowly smoked using Speyside whisky barrels. The result of this time consuming process is beautifully coloured flesh, infused with a smoky flavour.
We hope you will enjoy viewing our products on the web site and the convenience of shopping online. If you have any special requests please contact us on 01292 590590 for butchery or 01292 591009 for smoked products.
