Established in 2007, Bel`s Butchers has gained a widespread reputation amongst its customers for providing the highest quality products with a warm personal service.

At Bel`s we take immense pride in providing the customer with the very best Scottish beef, lamb, pork, poultry and game. We source our beef directly from the farm, namely T.H Stevenson of Balmacolly, who has earned the greatest respect in the world of agriculture by producing top quality beef cattle.

We take in whole carcasses and mature the middle cuts for at least three weeks on the bone. As a member of the Scotch Butchers Club we are also approved stockists of `Scotch Lamb` and Specially Selected Pork`. Lamb often originates from the Angus glens, and pork is sourced from the family farm, hand selected to a specification required to product the best end product for the customer.

We have an extensive range of products and make all of our sausages, burgers, puddings, haggis, pastries, pies and ready meals on the premises to our own tried and tested recipes.
We have developed more than 20 varieties of speciality sausages and burgers, and have numerous speciality products unique to Bel’s on offer to our customers on a daily basis.

Homemade soups, pate, potted hough, salads and cold meats are a popular choice and we stock an extensive range of chutneys, jams, preserves, sauces, seasonings and dry goods to compliment our products.


Since 2009 we have won a number of silver and gold awards for our pastries, sausages, burgers and speciality products. In 2011 we were awarded the prestigious Diamond Award for our Mediterranean Lamb Steaks voted the best lamb product in Scotland 2011.
