James Chapman (butchers) Ltd. has been serving the local community since 1893. It is company policy to provide the highest quality of beef, lamb and pork which at all times is sourced by a member of the Chapman family from markets and farms throughout Scotland and the North of England.

The company employs 128 people in 6 retail shops, abattoir 2 bakehouses and meat factory. The meat factory manufactures and produces a wide range of sausages, burgers, black pudding, haggis, dumpling, bacon, cooked meats and many other delicious dishes, such as lasagne, macaroni cheese and shepherds pie.

The two bakeries produce a range of products, both sweet and savoury from scones, cakes and bread to Award Winning Steak Pies with sausage and Scotch Pies.

It is the aim of the companyto produce as many high quality products as is possible on the company premises, thus creating and maintaining local employment. There are very few businesses left in Wishaw, which manufacture food products in the town, and therefore create local jobs.

From farm to table, we source, supply, process, cut, trim, prepare, bake and sell the finest quality meats, sausages, pies, puddings and traditional meat specialities.
