We are a local traditional family butcher that prides ourselves in supplying locally sourced beef, lamb and pork along with fresh local vegetables. Unlike many butchers we buy in whole carcasses and Ali along with his team of butchers, that he has trained, butcher all our meat to his high standards. Ali has been in the trade for over 40 years and has a vast knowledge of his trade.
We have been trading for over 20 years and recently won the Golden Cleaver for the Best Marinated Steak in Great Britain followed by the Best Traditional Pork Sausage at the UK Sausage Awards in 2019 along with a number of other awards at the Craft Butcher Awards and The British Pie Awards.
Our staff are all experienced and all our sausages, burgers, pies, puddings are made by them on our premises with our own recipes that have perfected over the years by Ali Paul and his partner Ian Mcalllister who is now retired.
We offer a free local delivery and each week travel to Gairloch, Aultbay, Lochcarron and Dornie stopping on route with deliveries.
The shop is popular with all our customers, many come in for a chat or just to enjoy the friendly banter while they shop.
In the past year we have raised enough money for a defibrillator for the local community and are now raising money to help with the Haven – a care centre for families with children with disabilities.
