Barry Florence and John Sinclair proprieters of H M Sheridan are keen to see the business develop and have been looking at new ways of attracting business. Within the business there are a huge range of products all made on site and this in itself we think is unique.
We have also started an outside catering facility, from spit roasts, barbecues, haggis suppers, stovies to full three course meals waitress served. You can also hire the spit roast or barbecue for DIY functions.
The shop itself is very well stocked and attractively presented with good local customer support and also from far afield. Beef is sourced direct from local farms and their names displayed on a blackboard at the front door. Lamb and pork is purchased from Scotch Premier so is Scottish but not always local but is advertised when it is. Local estates provide us with a large range of game from venison, rabbits, hares, pheasants and mallard duck.
Pies and Pastry are made on the premises daily, from everyday scotch pie to luxury venison and cranberry pie.
Gammons, beef, pork and meat roll are all cooked on the premises to perfection for beautiful sliced meats.
We have a large range of sausages over 40 different varieties including beeff and horseradish, pork and leek, lamb and rosemary, venison and the latest pork and iron brew!!
Burgers are also made in lots of different varieties from pork and apple to lamb burger.
We also make coleslaw, tattie salad, carrot and cheese salad.
Not forgetting our fabulous Haggis, Black Pudding, Fruit Pudding and Meallie Pudding.
And last but not least Granny Munros Dumpling you have to taste it to believe it!!!
